We, at Mastoor, rejoice the approach of the Holy Month of Ramadhaan. Therefor we present to you our Ramadhaan capsule “Moonsight”.

It’s always soothing to be able to welcome the Holy month. The month of more intensive worship, night prayers, fasting and taking care of the less fortunate by giving zakat.

Allaah ﷻ says in the Noble Quraan:
‘O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may become people having Taqwaa.’ [Surah-Baqarah (2): 183]

Every year Muslims all over the world look forward to be able to witness the Ramadhaan. And even so relatable is the suspense we experience when we await the sight of the new moon.

Talhah bin Ubaidullah رضي الله عنه reported: At the sight of the new moon (of the lunar month), the Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate:

‎ ‏اللهم أهله علينا بالأمن والإيمان والسلامة والإسلام، ربي وربك الله، هلال رشد وخير‏

(O Allah, let this moon appear on us with security and Iman; with safety and Islam. (O moon!) Your Creator and mine is Allah. May this moon be bringing guidance and good)." [Riyad as-Salihin 1228]
