A timeless command from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ:

A man said to the Prophet ﷺ: ‘Advise me.’ He said: ‘Do not get angry.’ He repeated it several times: ‘Do not get angry.’

(Sahih al-Bukhari 6116)

Imām Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said:

“This ḥadīth is a foundation from the foundations of good character.”
