The Offering
Some garments carry more than fabric.
They carry witness.
This collection was born from a question we could not leave unanswered, what does
a man wear when he has lost everything, and still chooses dignity? We found our
answer in Mohamedou Ould Slahi. A man who spent fourteen years detained without
charge, without trial, without certainty of tomorrow. And yet, what remained in him
was not bitterness. It was stillness. Presence. An unbroken relationship with his Lord.
The Offering is four thobes. Four colors. Four interior states.
Sky blue for the man who has learned to open his chest to what he cannot control.
Quiet purple for the dignity that no institution can confiscate. Mint for the renewal that
waits on the other side of surrender. Navy for the gravity of a soul that has been tested and did not collapse.
These are not garments designed around a trend.
They were designed around a testimony.
To honor that testimony, we made something we have never made before.
7:60 — The Offering is a documentary series. It follows Mohamedou, his voice, his
hands, his stillness, and asks what it means to dress with intention when you have
known what it is to have nothing. It is the story behind this collection. And it is, we
believe, one of the most important things Mastoor has ever put its name to.
We invite you to watch before you wear.
To sit with the story before you carry it.
The Offering is not a seasonal drop.
It is an act of remembrance.
For Mohamedou. For every man who held on.
And for the garment that has always meant more than cloth.
