We view our Mastoor Thobes as more than just clothing; they are akin to a work of art. The fit, the narrative, the colors, the fabrics, and the overall image collectively form a process that is akin to artistic creation.
Crafting a Thobe begins with a plan to develop a pattern, weaving a story or concept that harmonizes with the chosen colors and fabrics, determining the skilled hands that will bring it to life, and identifying the intended audience.
Embracing an artistic vision, our recent photoshoot was conducted in an art gallery, drawing inspiration from the world of art. The art pieces showcased by “Art In Return”, who values art for the goodness it brings into life, resonated with the simple yet profound aesthetic present in our thobes.
On July 26th, we are excited to unveil our latest collection, "The Art of Modesty," which embodies the principle of humility.
"Invoke your Lord with humility and in secret, for indeed, He does not like transgressors. And cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good." (Surah Al-A'raf 7:55-56)
Drawing inspiration from the rich stories of Islam, we believe that humility is a virtue that should be exhibited through our thoughts, words, and actions. Displaying humility involves not only one’s internal disposition but also reflects in one’s body language and choice of attire, which play a crucial role in showcasing modesty. Just as we exhibit humility in our prayers by covering our 'awrah in a dignified manner, our Thobe serves as an exquisite piece of art that also symbolizes the duty of portraying modesty.
